F o ra $35 donation, Friends o fT re e s w ill plant a y o u n g native tree in honor o f y our m o th er and send a gift acknow ledgm ent card in her nam e. T he trees w ill be planted to help restore the next C ollins Sanctuary near Forest Park in n orthw est Port­ land. A grove o f six w ill be planted for $ 100. P eople w ho give o r receive gift trees for M o th er’s D ay w ill also be invited to the next gift tree plan tin g in the fall. T he C ollins Sanctuary w as d o n ated to P ortland resi­ dents by the C ollins Fam ily Foundation.
