Funeral for Brothers Redesign Moves Forward A service for two brothers who died tragically was held Saturday at Maranatha Church in northeast Portland. Aaron C ampbell died Jan.29 in a confrontation with police. His brother I iinothy Douglass died that same day from a heart attack. See related story, front page. The process for redesigning o f Portland’s high schools contin­ ued Monday with a resolution before the school board. But it will likely lead to the closure o f a school. Mayor Promotes Jobs Portland M ayor Sam Adams gave his second State o f the City ad- on Friday. Bike Plan Delayed People packed City Council cham bers last week as commissioners mulled over a 2030 bike plan that would ad 700 miles o f bike lanes. Despite a lot o f support, there was no agreem ent on how to pay for the $631 million proposal. City Council delayed voting on it, but Adam s assured supporters it would pass.
