Sealed Bids for the OCC - VAV Controllers and Co2 Sensors Upgrade Project, must be delivered to MERC Attn: Heather Peck, 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Portland, OR 97232, no later than 2:00 PM Pacific Time, February 18, 2010. At that time, the bids will be opened and publicly read aloud in the MERC Conference Room. Formal bids may not be submitted by facsimile (fax) transmittal. The Work contemplated consists of all equipment, materials, and labor required to upgrade specified VAV boxes for Meeting Room AHU's. Work includes low voltage wiring from transformers, electrical wiring to transformers, air balancing of VAV boxes, and labor to engineer, program, and create graphics. Additionally, installation of duct mounted CO2 sensors with LCD display to specified ballroom AH U’s, including engineering and programm ing of econom izer j dampers to meet ASHRE 62.1, while saving as much energy as possible. Work also includes processing of any applicable Energy Trust Rebates. Work will be in accordance with the construction documents and technical specifications contained in the Request for Bids. The location of the work will be at the Oregon Convention Center, in mechanical rooms 3005 and 4010 and service corridors. By signing and submitting a Bid for this Public Works project, the Bidder certifies that it will comply with ORS 279.350, requiring payment of prevailing wage rates. Bidders must also use recyclable products to the maximum extent econom ically feasible in the performance of the contract work and be registered with the Oregon Construction Contractor’s Board pursuant to ORS 701.035-90. Each Bid must contain a statement as to whether the Bidder is a resident Bidder, as defined in ORS 279.029.
