that he would really begin to mold his own
artistic talent into a new craft.
In 2005, Al-Baiaty decided he wanted to
make a living using his skills in design and
bought his own printing press. He started
printing fliers and T-shirts while still attend
ing college. He found himself screen-printing
until 3 a.m. at times, progressing to finishing
the homework that was due for classes that
sam e m o rn in g . But this d ed icated
entrepreneur’s work ethic and insomnia would
soon pay off.
Al-Baiaty officially opened his “Elusive Printing”
business in 2006. The local company prides itself on
using eco-friendly water-based Inks and the 100 per
cent organic cotton alternatives used for custom de
signed shirts. He also strives to solidify his name as an
environmental and community based company with
affordable prices and one-stop service.
Elusive Printing’s versatility does not stop at print
ing; they design as well. After gaining the knowledge
necessary at PSU to successfully design promotional
artwork for customers, Al-Baiaty took the tools and
programs learned and applied them towards the busi
ness.
Even before Elusive Printing was established, he
had a goal to launch his very own clothing line. This
March, he will release a unique and stylish clothing
brand called “Elusive Collections.” This cloth
ing will feature fictional characters portraying the
daily trials and tribulations that men and wom en o f
all types have gone through in recent centuries and
will go through in years to com e, attem pting to
creatively relate to the m ajority o f our diverse
planet. The fabrics will only be m ade with highest
quality o f 100 percent organic cotton and water-
based Ink.
