Fifth Ave. The group unveils intriguing lyrics and bizarre space-age sounds that you can shake a stick at, including calypso, sm ooth ja z z , funk, punk, grindcore, and on and on -- all over a bed of quick and clever rhymes. Dessa, Doomtree's only fe­ male rapper, balances out the male hysteria on "Dots and D ashes," and several other songs.
