Vanport Square opened in January 2008 and features 14 local businesses - each of which owns their
space. The project recently achieved Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Cold cer­
tification for its environmentally sustainable construction. The project was developed by Vanport
Partners, LLC and was jointly funded by PDC and the Portland Family of Funds.
The Portland Development Commission believes th a t
