The Planning and Developm ent D epartm ent of M etro, a
m etropolitan service district organized under the laws of
the State of Oregon and the Metro Charter, located at 600
NE G ra n d A ve n u e , P o rtla n d , O re go n 9 7 2 3 2 -2 7 3 6 , is
requesting proposals for provision of vanpool leasing services
and adm inistration of th e Regional Vanpool Program .
Proposals will be due no later than 3:00 pm, April 1 5 ,2 0 0 9
in M etro's business offices at Attn: Angela W atkins, 600 NE
Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736.
Metro, through its Regional Travel Options (RTO) program,
c u rre n tly p ro v id e s v a n p o o l s e rv ic e s in th e P o rtla n d
m etropolitan region through lease agreem ents with three
(3) vanpool providers. Vanpool participants sele ct the
provider that best m eets their needs from a pre-approved
list of eligible providers.
T ra d itio n a l v a n p o o ls a re d e fin e d as th o s e th a t c a rry
em ployees from a com m on area that is at least ten (10)
miles from their work site(s). The vanpool's passengers
may be picked up and dropped off at their hom es or more
com m only, at a designated m eeting place such as a park-
and-ride lot. One (1) or m ore of the passengers serve as
regular drivers.
All inform ation subm itted by Proposers shall becom e public
record and will be subject to disclosure under the Oregon
Public Records Act, except those portions of the proposals
for w hich Proposers request exception from d isclosure
consistent with Oregon law.
The Housing Authority of Portland is soliciting proposals for a
s in g le -p ro p e rty m a na gem ent firm to m anage the New
Colum bia com m unity.
The Housing Authority of Portland (HAP) will accept Proposals
u ntil 2 :0 0 PM , A p ril 2 1 st 2 0 0 9 at H A P ’s P u rc h a s in g
Department located at 135 SW Ash S tre et 5th Floor, Portland,
Oregon 97204. Proposals should be clearly marked with the
