clowns host benefit
The 12th annual Portland Clowns Without Bor­
ders Benefit Show will take place Friday, March
20 at 7:30 p.m. at the Da Vinci Middle School The­
ater, 2508 N.E. Everett St.
The performance will feature some of the best
new vaudeville and modem circus acts and raise
donations to fund two Portland-led Clowns With­
out Borders humanitarian projects in Haiti.
This is an annual highlight of Portland's variety
theater/new circus scene featuring Portland's top
jugglers, acrobats, eccentric comedians, and clowns
- including The Bellini Twins, as seen recently on
the Jay Leno show.
Portland has for 11 years been arguably the stron­
gest center for Clowns Without Borders of any city
in the U.S.
Tickets are $ 10-$25 for adults, and $5 to $ 10 for
