look at race through a sympo­
sium titled “W hat’s Race Got
to Do with It?”
A film by the same name
will kick off events on Friday,
Jan. 16 from noon to 1 p.m. in
the Jazz Cafe, Room 2059. A
series of public discussions are
scheduled in the Town and
Gown building, Room 2007,
starting with “ Has Martin
Luther King Jr.'s Dream Been
Realized? on Tuesday, Jan.
20, from 3 to 4 p.m.; “What
D oes O bam a M ean to
Y ou?”on Wednesday, Jan. 21,
from 3 to 4 p.m.; “Racism:
Dead or Alive?” on Thursday,
Jan. 22, from 3 to 4 p.m.; and
“Where to Now?” on Friday,
Jan.23, from noon to 1 p.m.
