The Oregon State Board of Higher Education/OUS is seeking
qualified construction m anagem ent firm s interested in
providing Construction Management/General Contractor
(CMGC) services in connection with the Underground Parking
Structure project on the University of Oregon campus.
The successful CM/GC will be working closely with a design
firm , de velopm e nt m anagem ent com pany, adjacen t
contractors and the University on scheduling, budget and
constructability issues through the Construction Document
phase of design. The project generally consists of initial Work
that includes the construction of a three story underground
parking structure adjacent to the new University of Oregon
Arena. The University has contracted with Ellerbe Becket as
the Architect for the design of the project. The design schedule
calls for trade contractor bidding during the early Spring of
2009 and construction beginning the early Summer of 2009.
