The bottom line is that the 2(X)8 Nissan Sentra 2.0 is a family-friendly comfortable cruiser; providing a budget-conscious respect for buyers. Making the 2008 Nissan Sentra 2.0, a real family value. First-time car buyers and young fam i lies on light budgets will be happy to know that the 2008 Nissan Sentra offers a confident ride, spacious interior, roomy trunk, excellent fuel econom y, plenty of safety and convenience features, and an attractive exterior, sporting styling cues from other Nissan siblings like the A ltim aand Maxima. Offered in sedan form only, the 2008 Sentra is a crowd pleaser when it comes to seating comfort. There was plenty of room for any 6-foot plus frame up front, and adequate legroom in the back. The 2008 Sentra has a huge trunk, fully capable of handling large pack ages and gear for an active lifestyle. Surprisingly, you can actually fit a full- size bicycle in the Sentra with the stan dard 60/40 fold-down rear seats folded down. Also, the Sentra offers an available Divide-N -H ide trunk divider that pro vides grocery bag hooks and a hidden storage com partm ent. Other nifty stor age solutions include a large glove box, standard center console with lid and available removable CD holder above the d riv er's visor. The 2008 Nissan Sentra base now comes standard with a CVT transm is sion. The 2.0-liter engine mated to the CVT, delivers adequate acceleration. The engine obviously w orks harder when the vehicle is loaded down with passengers and cargo. But, once up to speed, my Sentra tester was com fort able and fairly quiet while cruising at highway speeds. Rated at 25/33 mpg C’ity/Highway (CVT), and featuring a 14.5-gallon tank, the 2008 Nissan Sentra will take you almost 480 miles on tank of fuel. With the current price of gas, this alone is enough to earn the 2008 Sentra 2.0 a big- thumbs up from me. The front-wheel drive 2008 Sentra comes standard with six air-bags and has a 5-star front-im pact crash rating.
