Three Dimensional Expertise on View

The Museum of Contemporary Craft,
724 N.W. Davis, is exhibiting a unique
collection of sculptures through April 27.
Thisjuriedexhibit features nine diverse
works of art from members of the fast
growing artists’ group Pacific Northwest
Sculptors. Artists include JD Bump,Tamae
Frame, George Heath, Alisa Looney,
Lawrence Morrell, Carole Murphy, Sara
Swink, Carole Turner, and D B Wells.
Museum of Contemporary Craft is a
longtime supporter of local artists and is
providing a unique opportunity for the
public to view a high-quality selection of
three-dimensional artwork. Multimedia
works in glass, metal, clay and concrete
will be highlighted in the lab as part of the
museum’s “Community Showcase." The
exhibit is open Tuesdays through Sun­
days, from 11 a.m. toóp.m ., and on Thurs­
days until 8 p.m. Admission is free.
Selected artists will be on hand per­
forming demonstrations of their sculp­
ture-making process on three consecu­
tive Saturdays during the six-week show­
case. The public is invited to witness the
wonderful craftsmanship of these local
talents between l and 4 p.m. on April 12,
19 and 26.
