Notice of Public Hearing on Community Needs
In M ay 2008, the City of Portland, Multnomah County, and the City
of G resham will subm it their one-year Action Plans FY 2008-09 to
the U.S. Departm ent of Housing and Urban Development.
The Action Plans FY 2008-09 are the fourth in a series of five
annual Plans intended to im plem ent the strategies established in
the Consolidated Plan 2005-2010, as am ended, and will serve as
a jo in t application for federal funds available to cities and counties
under four programs: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG),
HOM E Investm ent Partnerships (HOME), Em ergency Shelter Grant
(ESG), and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPW A).
The Action Plans FY 2008-09 will detail how these funds will be
allocated over the coming fiscal year to address the priority housing
a nd c o m m u n ity d e v e lo p m e n t needs o f M u ltn o m a h C o u n ty
residents,
Before issuing the Action Plans FY 2008-09, the jurisdictions want
to give local residents and providers the opportunity to present
inform ation and views on housing and com m unity developm ent
needs and priorities. A public hearing will be held at the Housingand
CommunityDevelopmentCommission(HCDC)publicmeeting. The hearing

The PORTLAND DEVELOPMENTCOMMISSION (COMMISSION) will receive
sealed bids in w riting at the Com m ission's office located at 222
NW Fifth Avenue, Portland, Oregon 97209 for construction o f new
metal roof and structure for existing Dawson Park Gazebo Dome
and other related work until the deadline of 2:00 p.m. Pacific
Daylight Tim e (PDT) on September 2, 2007 (“Bid D eadline"), after
which tim e bids will not be received. All bids will be publicly opened
and read a loud at the Com m ission's Office im m ediately after the
tim e o f th e Bid D ead line. Each bid d e r sh a ll s u b m it to the
Com m ission's office the First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form
(the form of which is contained in the Project M anual) either (1)
along with its respective bid or (2) by delivering such item to the
Com m ission’s office no later than 4:00 p.m. on September 2,2007.
All work shall be performed in accordance with the provisions of the
Contract Documents contained or referenced in the Projects Manual
