Facilities and Planning Contracts Officer
PSU seeks Contracts Officer to manage construction and other
contracts, supervise the contracts team within Facilities and
Planning in negotiating and processing construction and other
contracts, agreements, and memorandums of understanding on
behalf of the department; provide advice on contracting and
procurement practices as well as develop requests for proposal
(RFP); interpret procedures and regulations related to contracting
and purchasing; and ensure contracts are appropriately executed,
logged, filed, and approved for legal sufficiency by the Oregon
Department of Justice and in accordance with Office of Business
Affairs. Required exp includes relevant bachelor's degree, exc.
Com m unication and a b ility to work w /diverse people,
organizational skills, etc. Preferred exp includes 2 yrs construction
contracting experience. Salary range $45,000 - 52,000 w/
excellent benefits package including fully paid healthcare,
reduced tuition rates, and generous retirement and vacation
