A homecoming celebration was held
May 26 at Allen Temple CM E Church,
4236 N.E. Eighth Ave., fo r Rev.
Ponstance D. Culp-Gadsden who died
May 13, 2(X)7 at the age o f 50.
She was born July 12, 1956 in Port­
land. She is survived by her son Charvell
Douglas; father Morris T. Culp Sr.;
stepmother Virginia Culp; sisters Myrtle
Kelsaw, Cynthia Culp and Sandra Culp
Freeman; brothers Morris Culp Jr. and
Byron Paul Culp; and a host o f nieces,
nephews, cousins and many other loved ones.
Ponstance was laid to rest Tuesday, May 29 at Lincoln
Memorial Park in southeast Portland.
