Sixty students of local musician MyLinda King will bring high-en­ ergy marimba music from Zimba­ bwe. Botswana and South Africa to Portland during a special concert on Saturday, April 21 from 12:30 p.m. to5:30p.m . at Evangel Baptist Church, 2830 N.E. Venue Grows for Irish Singer Irish singer and songw riter Damien Rice will perform April 26at 8 p.m. at the Rose Quarter after his scheduled show at the Roseland Theater sold out. All tickets sold for the Roseland will be honored. Rice’s powerful voice was dis­ covered hy many when he released his first single “The B low er’s Daughter,” an instant Top 20 hit in the fall of 2001.
