The Tacoma Housing Authority (THA) is soliciting Proposals (Quotes)
from qualified testing services contractors to assist THA with
construction testing and monitoring on an on-call basis, during our
next two phases of construction at our Salishan development.
Selected Contractor(s) will be on-call for specific projects / tasks
as they arise. The testing and construction monitoring services, in
general terms, may include, but will not be limited to the following:
• Geotechnical and Other Professional Engineering
• Engineering Technical Support/ General Special Inspection
• Soils Testing/ Compaction Testing
• Construction QAQC
• Report Writing
The Testing Services Contractor selected for this role will contract
with Tacoma Housing Authority and inspect the infrastructure, civil
and structural work of all contractors working directly or indirectly
for THA in the Salishan development.

The Tra n sp o rta tio n Im ple m e n tation D ivision of M etro, a
metropolitan service district organized under the laws of the State
of Oregon and the Metro Charter, and located at 600 NE Grand
Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, is requesting letters of interest,
statements of qualifications, and proposals from firms interested
and qualified to assist in the preparation of the Supplemental
Draft Environmental Impact Statement (SDEIS) for the South
Corridor Phase II Milwaukie to Portland Light Rail project. The five
major task areas for which personal services assistance are being
requested include:
• Financial Analysis and Technical Assistance
• Public Involvement
• Station Area Analysis
• Transportation Analysis
• Social and Environmental Analysis
Proposals responding to this solicitation may be submitted on the
basis of a team seeking to complete all components of the scope
of work, or may be submitted by a consultant or team seeking to
prepare one or more of the major task areas. Proposals should be
submitted no later than, noon on March 26,2007 to the attention
of Kelsey Newell, 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland Oregon 97232.
A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held at 2 p.m., March
13, 2006 at the Metro Regional Center, Room 370A/B, 600 NE
Grand Avenue, Portland Oregon 97232.

envelopes, which clearly identify the item(s) as stated in the RFB.
