Contracting and Workforce Training Report.

• Minority, Women and Emerging Small Busines
for construction was 20.1 percent, surpassing the
total of $13 million. MBE construction firms accounted
total utilization. The highest single category was African Americ
businesses at $3.6 million.
• Minority and female workers totaled 23.97 percent of all construction hours.
• PDC exceeded its 20 percent apprenticeship goal with a rate of 26.7 percent.
More than 24 percent of all apprentices were minority and female.
• Total PDC utilization of M/W/ESB firms was 19.1 percent toward the annual
goal of 20 percent.
