product. It’s no surprise that this
country is the birthplace o f super­
size fries, (iiven this logic, it makes
perfect sense that the U.S. has long
been the dom inant force in the full-
size SUV segment. This category
was founded by dom estic m arques,
and for years, hom egrow n nam e­
plates were the only option for
buyers seeking a sport-utility ve­
hicle endowed w ilh king-size brawn.
Nissan first introduced the 2004
Pathfinder Arm ada in an effort to
capture a section o f this U.S. dom i-
