Inspired by true events, the film opens nationwide on Friday, Dec. 15. Giving an equally extraordinary performance is Jaden Christopher Syre Smith, the seven-year-old son of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, who makes his acting debut as Gardner's son Christopher.
