Neighborhood Involvem ent requests proposals from com m unity
based non p rofits, ind ivid u a ls, firm s, te a m s or co n su lta n ts
hereafter called “proposers", for a proposal for services to assist
in the design, developm ent and im plem entation of a Diversity and
Civic Leadership Academy. The program developed under this contract
is designed to broaden diverse participation in the civic governance
of the City through developing the organizational leadership skills
of new com m unity-based leaders with a focus on com m unities of
color, in c lu d in g p e o p le o f c o lo r in im m ig ra n t and re fu ge e
com m unities.

The Tacoma Housing Authority (THA) is s o licitin g S ta te m e n ts of
Proposals from qualified legal firm s or individuals to assist THA
with Legal Services on an on-call basis. Selected Firm(s) will be
on-call for specific projects as they arise. Services on an on-call
basis may include, but will not be limited to:
A non-m andatory pre-proposal m eeting will be held to receive
questions regarding this request for proposal at 10:30 am to Noon,

Proposers are required to eva lu a te project re quirem ents to
m axim ize use of M /W /ESB firms. Proposers are encouraged to
conduct pre-submittal conferences and are advised to investigate
potential sources of M /W /ESB and m axim ize outreach to
increase participation. Attention is called to Chapter 3.100 of the
