The proposed project is to replace the aging wave attenuating

expanded to include 200 feet of concrete floats that allow internal
and external m oorage and an additional 180 feet of external
moorage. An existing pumpout and dump station will be relocated
to the new outside floats. Replacing the existing wave attenuating
wall entails constructing a new wall approxim ately 300 feet long
and realigning it to provide wind, wave and wake protection for
the facility and to reduce sedim ents accum ulating in the basin.
The new wall will be sim ilar to the type of structure, a soldier pile
wall, as recom m ended by the US Arm y Corps of Engineers, NOAA
Fisheries and Oregon Department of State Lands. The project
will have tw o phases with the first being design and engineering of
the new structures and the second phase the actual construction.
