ARMADA SE-
OR 4X4
C arr
The Nissan Armada is available
only as a four-door SUV. There are
three trim levels: SE, SE Off-Road
and LE. Base SEs com e well
equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels,
dual-zone automatic climate con
trol, three row s of seating, a power
driver seat, a tire-pressure monitor
ing system, power-adjustable ped
als, rear parking sensors, rear-seat
air conditioning, an eight-speaker
stereo with an in-dash CD changer
and an auto-dimming rearview mir
ror. The SE ( )ff-Road adds Rancho
shocks, a lower final drive ratio, 17-
inch wheels and all-terrain tires, fog
lights and skid plates. The high-
line LE model loses the hard-core
off-road equipment but gains up
scale items like a power litigate,
healed leather seats, driver-seat
memory, a power front passenger

excitement to the overall look. No
tricks employed to look smaller -
the Armada celebrates its massive
ness. The middle 40/20/40 bench
seat drew high praise for space and
comfort.
With two child car seats, there
was room for an adult to ride com
fortably in the middle - a useful
parental buffer between squabbling

the Armada. The third row is not
bad at all. The seat is elevated so
you can see over the headrests and
not feel totally isolated back there.
There’s enough legroom and depth
so that the seating position is not
fetal.

Debuts in Portland
Jay Hierson pins Jake Ellenberger to the mat in an International Fight League.
Heirson is one of the top mix martial artists in a new league that will include a
team from Portland.
Mixed martial arts fans will get their first look at their
newest sports franchise, the Portland Wolfpack, when the
International Eight League debuts at the Memorial Coli

The event will feature four teams competing: Matt
