Moon,” on Friday, Nov. 4 at 7:30
p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 5 at 7:30 p.m.;

Artistic director Nancy Aldrich
directs the collaborative produc­
tion. For the past two summers,
Aldrich has been invited to Mexico
to teach and judge at a puppetry
festival.
Along with the featured play,
Tears of Joy offers a bonus presen­
tation. Onion Skin Soup is an adap­
tation of a Mexican story performed
with exquisite shadow puppets.
Audiences will be captivated by the
story of a poor woman who begs and
a rich woman who loves to eat.
Both performances are appro­
priate for ages seven and up and
will be held at W inningstad The­
atre. 1111 S.W. Broadway. The pro­
ductions are funded by the Paul G.
Allen Family Foundation and spon­
sored by The Portland Observer.
