Artistic director Nancy Aldrich directs the collaborative produc tion. For the past two summers, Aldrich has been invited to Mexico to teach and judge at a puppetry festival. Along with the featured play, Tears of Joy offers a bonus presen tation. Onion Skin Soup is an adap tation of a Mexican story performed with exquisite shadow puppets. Audiences will be captivated by the story of a poor woman who begs and a rich woman who loves to eat.
