OLCC commission member I .indy
Fisker replied, “ I was a deputy city
attorney with the city of Portland,
and 1 have a very strong enforce
ment background. I want to partner
with police bureaus and cities."
However, she added, OLCC is
bound by state regulations.
“When you ask us to deny a
license, you have to couch that
request in ways that allow us to do
it,” she said. If immediate action is
needed, “It has to be shown that
the threat of danger is so immediate
that it over-rides the licensee's right
to due process.”
Williams said that it would help
if the police would be more prompt
in sharing information.
“ I told (deputy chief) Stan
Grubbs, Help us help you,"' he
said. “They seemed receptive.”
