Neighborhood Groups Reviewed Portland residents are invited to discuss the future o f the city’s neighborhood association system on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. at the Smith Centerat Portland State Uni­ versity, downtown. Panel members will include John Canda, executive director of the Northeast Coalition o f Neighbor­ hoods and a local African-Ameri- can leader; Gretchen Kafoury, a former city commissioner; Joleen Jensen Classen of the Office of Neighborhood Involvement; and Bonny M cKnight, chair o f the Russell Neighborhood Associa­ tion.
