Free Summer Flicks
Members o f the Boys and Girls Clubs of Portland are
enjoying free admission to the movies twice a week this
summer thanks to Regal Theatre’s Lloyd Cinema.
The club also receive funds to cover transportation and
staffing expenses. This grant is very timely since it comes
during a period when gas prices have reached an all-time high
in most areas across the country.
“This movie experience will be a first for many of our
members and our goal is to constantly stretch their imagina
tion, while opening doors to a world of exploration and
excitement,” said Shane Wetzel, unit director of the Blazers
Boys and Girls Club.
