The SLK55 AMG gets a new
makeoverfor 2005 looking to seek
baby boomers in their midlife cri
ses. The SLK has added horse
power and technical innovations
with a bolder appearance to in
crease sales to men.
The SLK55 AMG is equipped
with a 5.5-liter V8 engine rated at
362 horsepower and 376 pound-
feet o f torque, paired with the
new AMG Speed shift seven-
speed transmission. It’s easily
distinguished by AMG styling
cues, 18-inch AMG wheels, an
AMG sport steering wheel with
gearshift buttons, and comes with
an AMG suspension, exhaust and
brakes. Body size of SLK expands
in length and width to carve more
space for the two-seat cockpit.

it left me feeling connected to the
