and career fair to connect em
ployers with job-seekers.
The 8,h annual event will be
held from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
on Tuesday, May 3 at the Physi
cal Education Building gymna
sium across the street from the
m ain cam p u s at 705 N.

More than 60 employers, rep
resenting hundreds of jobs, will
be in attendance. Last year, more
than 2,100 job-seekers attended
the fair, which includes employ
ment workshops on resum e
skills, interviewing, applying
for jobs online and how to make
successful career change. The
event is free and open to the
public. Parking is also free.
“This is an excellent oppor
tunity for the community to meet
with potential employers and to
connect with the Cascade Cam
pus,” said Algie Gatewood,
president of the Cascade Cam
pus. “We want to be a resource
for the community.”
