PCC Hosts Job, Career Fair
Opportunity to reach 60 employers
The Cascade Campus of Port­
land Com m unity College in
north Portland is hosting a job
and career fair to connect em ­
ployers with job-seekers.
The 8,h annual event will be
held from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
on Tuesday, May 3 at the Physi­
cal Education Building gymna­
sium across the street from the
m ain cam p u s at 705 N.
Killingsworth St.
More than 60 employers, rep­
resenting hundreds of jobs, will
be in attendance. Last year, more
than 2,100 job-seekers attended
the fair, which includes employ­
ment workshops on resum e
skills, interviewing, applying
for jobs online and how to make
successful career change. The
event is free and open to the
public. Parking is also free.
“This is an excellent oppor­
tunity for the community to meet
with potential employers and to
connect with the Cascade Cam­
pus,” said Algie Gatewood,
president of the Cascade Cam ­
pus. “We want to be a resource
for the community.”
