Alberta St., will host new w orks by artist Jesús T ellosa in his first one man show in Portland. W ith a w ell established group o f collectors, T ello sa’s appearance is attracting visitors from the Bay Area and Puget Sound. Born in M exico in 1936, Jesus Botello is know n as T ellosa. In the early ’60s he started to w ork with different m edia using bold brush strokes, painting with spatulas and experim enting with collage tech­ niques, and in 1960 he had his first solo exhibition at the D egollado G allery in G uadalajara. He continued his art studies at the Regent Polytechnic Institute in London and over the next few years participated in several collective exhibitions in London.
