We are seeking an effective leader and
experienced government auditor to serve as
Chief of Audit Services. The Audit Services
Branch conducts audits of the department in
accordance with government auditing standards
to enhance management decision-making and
to improve public accountability. The Branch Is
a 2002 recipient of the Institute of Internal
Auditor's Commitment to Quality Improvement
Award and a 2003 ODOT Team Excellence
Award. The Branch includes 4 business lines of
audit and audit related work: Internal Audits,
which produce 15-20 valueadded internal
audit reports each year, reporting to an Audit
Committee and to the Oregon Transportation
Commission; External Audit which oversee and
conduct audits of hundreds of millions of
dollars in contracts with private firms; and
