Woman Leads Muslim Prayer

“Here Comes the Bride” on Friday, March 25 and Saturday, March 26

The American Friends Service Committee
will bring its traveling memorial exhibition
“Eyes Wide Open: The Human Cost of War"
to Portland as part of its nationwide tour
honoring fallen U.S. military personnel and
Iraqi civilians.
Organizers o f the display are honoring
American soldiers fighting in the War in Iraq
and to raising awareness of the high human
cost o f war.
The highly praised exhibit will open to the
public at the First United Methodist Church,
1838 S.W. Jefferson St., on Wednesday,
April 6 and Thursday, April 7 from 10 a.m. to
6 p.m. each day.

meant to open minds to the reality of a risen
savior and think about what Jesus did for all
who would and will believe in him.

Ethically speaking, I traveled to the home
region of all Americans; Arabs; Hebrews; Eu­
ropeans; Orientals as well, A culture that de­
fined how we all once lived & how the powerful
value o f entreating the stranger as family en­
hanced us. Once a no border land, simply,
people being bom & spreading outward.
This region was deemed Zion or Sion, a name
that came from the known Black father, Canaan.
According to N elson's illustrated bible dictio­
nary. the name Zion or Sion came from Canaan's
eldest son. Zidon or Sidon the "D" becoming
silent over time. And this first predominately
Black civilization of man built the pyramids.

traced the DNA to “ethnics” named above to

I visited Africa. The oldest archeological
bone find was in Ethiopia's Africa and a few
miles from Africa’s Egypt, in Palestine - yes. the
land of Jesus. While doing some studies on this
topic, I visited a highly industrious city, bus­
tling Nigeria. There a historian & griot of
ancient culture confirmed to me that our ancient
father, the beloved Nimrod {Gen 10:8& 9) who
founded the over 40 million Yuraba’s ethnic,
was from Ethiopia (Cush).
After ten years of research on this topic, I
found that not only did the Yuraba migrate from
the resource rich land ot Zion ( Ethiopia, Egypt,
Palestine, and later Babylon | see Psalm 87. ] );But
even the military genius & South African Shaka
Zulu could trace his warring tactics back to this
region and overtothe brilliant military mind of the
Northwest African, the Black Carthaginian
Hannibal, who conquered Rome & occupied
spain for 23 years. One may ask. being that man
is one. how the different colors began?

secure in their likeness, moved around such
over time, thus repopulating outside of Zion {in
