Virtue rites of passage experiences.
This year’s ceremony will focus
on African American achievement
in the Olympics.
“Each year, the Bridge Builders
produces a high quality show in
honor of African American achieve­
ment. In addition to entertainment,
there is education and inspiration,”
said Cupid Alexander, a co-chair
for the gala.
The rituals will be infused with
singing, dancing and drumming
indigenous to Africa. There are also
contemporary performances that
include step, spoken word, cane
precision and Hip Hop.
Following the presentations,
