celebrate Kwanzaa at a Bridge
Builders Gala and Rite of Passage
Ball.
The eighth annual event hon­
ors college students who have
com pleted one o f the Bridge
Builders rites o f passage programs.
It also serves as the club’s largest
fundraising event for its scholar­
sh ip fu n d an d th e P a c ific
N orthwest’s largest Kwanzaa cel­
ebration in honor o f youth.
The event will take place at the
Newmark Theater, Portland Cen-
terforPerform ing Artsat7:30p.m .
Friday, Dec. 31. Tickets range from
