Ticket: $45.28
(AP) — Even without Shaquille
O ’Neal, the Los Angeles Lakers
have the N BA ’s highest average
ticket price for the third straight
year at $77.36, more than $30 above
the league average of $45.28.
The league average is up 2.1
percent from the 2003-04 season,
according to the Team Marketing
Report's annual study, which was
released Tuesday.
The New York Knicks, who were
swept in the first round of the play­
offs by New Jersey, raised ticket
prices 10 percent and had the
league's second-highest average
ticket at $70.51.
The league's low est average
ticket is for a Golden State W ar­
riors' game at $27.69, a 5 percent
increase. The expansion Charlotte
Bobcats willbecharging $36.61 per
ticket.
