Knauls came to Portland and made the former Cotton
Club a premier hotspot for jazz. He established the former
G eneva’s nightclub that also attracted prominent local
and national jazz and contemporary musicians. Through
his other business ventures he has mentored and spon­
sored various men and women. Knauls is known as a
community icon, trend and style setter, and a generous,
gracious man who loves Portland.
The event is from 6 to 9 p.m., and features Oregon
wines, elegant hors d ’ oeuvres and dessert, with a special
