Dean's stop in Portland was part of his nationwide tour with Democ­ racy for America, a group which he heads. Potter drew the attention of D ean's group based on his ability to increase citizen involvement, make every tax dollar count, prae- tiee campaign finance reform and* create living wage jobs.
