Notice is hereby given that the City of Vancouver, Washington, will
receive sealed bids up to the hour of 11:00 a.m., Pacific Standard
Time, Tuesday, August 24,2004, and publicly opened and read aloud
at that time on the same day in Procurement Services Conference
Room, 610 Esther St, 2nd Floor, Vancouver, Washington, for the
following:
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Camas, Office of the
Finance Department, 616 NE 4th Avenue, Camas, Washington,
until 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, August 17,2004, and will then and
there be publicly read for the construction of the improvement.
This contract provides for the improvements of approximately
3 ,4 0 0 feet o f roadw ay inclu d in g p ed estrian tra ffic signal
Illumination, retaining walls, asphalt and concrete pavements
s id e w a lk s , c u rb s, d ra in a g e im p ro ve m e n ts , la n d s c a p in g
underground utilities, roadway excavation, water and sewer, and
associated work, all in accordance with the attached Contract
Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications
All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit
in cash, certified check, cashier’s check, or surety bond in an
amount equal to five percent (5%) of the am ount of such bid
proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such
contract and furnish satisfactory perform ance bond within the
time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be
forfeited to the City of Camas.

W A State sales tax or $100.00 if you are exempt from payment of
