O fficials say that although Ray Lampkin III was only five minutes late to his weigh in, he was disqualified from the team. Lampkin, who trains at the Matt Dishman Community Center, is still the first alternate for the Olympic Team. He will train with Olympians from June 3rd through 17th at North Michigan Univer­ sity. Lampkin will also fight in the Titan World Games in Atlanta, Ga. from June 17* through 20th. He will compete against fighters from Germany and Mexico in those games. He’s toying with turning pro after the summer Olympics but says he may con­ tinue gaining experience in the amateur ring.
