tion deals.

The R&B music of the 1970s
lives on in “Superstars of Sev­
enties Soul,” a new three CD
boxed set featuring the era’s
biggest hits.
The collection was released
this week in advance of a home
video release of the PBS con­
cert special of the same name.
With classic R&B love songs
like “Still In Love With You”
(Al Green) and “Ain’t No Sun­
shine” (Bill Withers), disco de­
lights “Boogie Oogie Oogie”
(Taste of Honey) and “Good
Times" (Chic), slow-jams "Be­
tween The Sheets" (Isley Broth­
ers) and “Close The Door”
(T eddy P e n d e rg ra ss), the
funked-out "Spill The Wine”
(Eric Burdon and War) and
“Brick House” (Commodores),

The television concert was
