certified check, or a cashiers check payable to Multnomah County
for the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the aggregate
proposal. The successful bidder shall furnish a bond satisfactory
to the board in the full amount of the contract.
The Twin Rocks Sanitary District reserves the right to reject any or
all bids not in com pliance with all prescribed public bidding
procedures and requirements, may reject for good cause any and
all bids upon a finding of the agency it is in the public interest to do
so and may waive all informalities. No bidder may withdraw or
modify his bid prior to the lapse of forty-five (45) days after bid
opening.

Sealed bids for the Dryden Hall Third Floor HVAC Modifications
Project will be received, opened and publicly read aloud on Tuesday,
October 7,2003 at 2:00 PM local time by the Oregon State Board
of Higher Education. All bidders must be registered with the
Construction Contractor's Board.
Metro and its contractors will not discrim inate against any

Contractors and subcontractors must be licensed for asbestos
abatement work if the project involves working with asbestos as
set forth in ORS 468A.720.

the bid prices. Contractors need not be licensed for asbestos
handling per ORS 468A.720 to complete this project.

Proposals must conform to the RFP format and be complete
including the use of any forms. Metro may accept or reject any or
all proposals, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting
substantial right if such action is deemed in the public interest.
All bidders must comply with the requirements of the prevailing
