Ten Commandments Judge Won’t Budge

state judicial building in M ontgom ery,
Ala. m arched on A ttorney G eneral Bill
P ryor’s office T uesday, d em anding he
resign for abiding by a federal court order
for the m arker’s rem o v al.
A bout 150 m o n u m en t su p p o rters
m arched from the judicial building to the
nearby Statehouse to m eet w ith Pryor,
but w ere m et by 10 state police blocking
the door. Seven representatives w ere
allow ed inside to m eet with P ry o r’s ch ief
deputy for about 20 m inutes.
The rest o f the group rem ained out
side, chanting, “ R esign now ! Resign
now !”
The 5,300-pound m onum ent rem ained

pray er service suffocated, accord
ing to the medical exam iner’s office.
The death w as ruled a hom icide.
Terrance Cottrel 1 Jr. died because
his chest w as som ehow restricted
and could not expand, according to
a statem ent issued by the office o f
the M ilw aukee C ounty coroner.
