Multnomah County, Office of School and Community Partnership,
Energy Program is seeking contractors qualified to do a wide variety
of insulation and energy related weatherization measures on local
area multi-family dwellings. Contractors will be assigned jobs based
on their bids on variety of tasks using an automated job assignment
process. Period of perform ance will be October 1, 2003 to
September 30.
Sealed bids will be received until, but not after, 2:00 PM, by
M u ltn o m a h C o u n ty C e n tra l P ro c u re m e n t and C o n tra c t

Request for Qualifications
Oregon State University (OSU) is seeking qualifications from
a rc h ite c tu ra l firm s in te re s te d in p ro v id in g p re -d e s ig n /
programming, and potentially design through construction contract
adm inistration services for a new building for the College of
Oceanic and Atmospheric Sciences (COAS). COAS is one of the
nation’s leading research and educational institutions. The COAS
oceanography graduate program was recently rated fifth nationally
by the national Academy of Sciences. OSU's College of Science's
Department of Geosciences will participate in this building program
as a partner.
OSU is s e e k in g p ro fe ssio n a l design team headed by an
architectural firm experienced in Higher Education work. The team
should include structural, civil, mechanical and electrical engineers,
as well as a landscape architect.
Primary architectural firms interested in assembling design should
respond in writing before the close of business, Tuesday, September
