(A P) — David Robinson was
standing along the paint, waiting
for a free throw, when it finally
happened. His career was over.
Kevin Willis checked in and re­
placed Robinson with 35.6 seconds
left in the final game o f his 14th
season. W hat could’ve been a sen­
timental walk to the sideline was
anything but. It was the hug-filled
journey o f a two-tim e NBA cham­
pion.
Robinson went out a winner -
and, best o f all, was a big reason
why his team came out on top in his
final game.
Robinson had 13 points and 17
rebounds to help carry the San
Antonio Spurs past the New Jersey
Nets 88-77 on Sunday night in Game
6 o f the NBA Finals.
He had 11 points in the first three
quarters when the Spurs were strug-

Sorento’s body s design does not
give a sense o f stability when turn­
ing comers.
The quality o f ride is acceptable
but could use som e im provem ent
to make it feel likes it fits to the
body. The suspension w as ad­
equate over rough roads and train
tracks. The interior was quite, pro­
ducing very little road noise to be
heard from inside.
The 2003 Kia Sorento becomes
more attractive with the price and
the features that are packed in to
it. It a good-looking vehicle built
on a truck platform that boasts a
V6 engine. When comparing m id­
size SU V ’s d o n ’t forget to look at
this one because you may find an
extra 5 to 6 thousand advantage.
