This Request for Proposal (RFP) competitive procurement process
is for the selection of a General Contractor for the Sylvania Campus
Technology Classroom Building. The project consists of a new
building of approximately 46,400 square feet together with site
modifications and landscaping. Approximate cost for the project
is $7,700,000.
A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will be held April 8,2003,

supplying reconditioned 55 gallon drums (RFB #03-1059-SWR)
for hazardous waste disposal. Potential bidders may obtain bid

One or more supply contracts are hereby proposed for furnishing
an estimated 10,000 reconditioned, 55 gallon steel drums (open
top) and 3,000 reconditioned, 55 gallon steel drums (tight-head)
to be used for bulking and lab packing hazardous materials
received, processed for disposal, and recycled through two
permanent facilities and for miscellaneous satellite activities.

commence June 1, 2003, and expire May 31, 2005.

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the selection of a General
Contractor for the Rock Creek Campus phase 1 projects. The
projects consist of a new building of approximately 64,000 square
feet, expansion of existing Building 7, Science and Technology, of
approximately 31,000 square feet, pole building of approximately
13,000 square feet, and extensive site work. Approximate cost
for the phase 1 project is $17,000,000.

ROCK CREEK CAMPUS HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL
DISTRIBUTION UPGRADES
Bids due by 11:00 AM on April 17, 2003
This is an Invitation to Bid on modifications/ replacement of the
existing High Voltage Electrical Distribution System serving the
Rock Creek Campus both to new and existing buildings. The work
includes but is not necessarily limited to installation of new conduit
(some in encasements) pads and transformers, disconnects,
service to existin g buildings with main d istribution panel
modifications as required, installation of conduit to serve data
and communication systems and coordination with other utility
servers for joint use of trenching. The estimated amount for the
work is $900,000.00.
A Mandatory Pre Bid Conference will be held on Wednesday, April
9,2003, meeting at 10:00 A.M., in Rock Creek Bldg #5 conference
room. The campus is located at 17705 NW Springville Road,
Beaverton, Oregon.

Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered.
All bids must be clearly and distinctly typed or written with ink or
indelible pencil. All blank spaces must be completed. No erasures
are permitted. Mistakes must be crossed out and corrections
typewritten or written in ink adjacent thereto, and initialed in ink
by the party signing the Bid, or his authorized representative.
Written amounts shall be shown in both words and figures. Words
shall govern in cases of discrepancy between the amounts stated
in words and the amounts stated in figures.
All bids must be on the form furnished by Metro or they may be
rejected by Metro. Where plans and specifications are attached
to the bid, they must be returned by the Bidder with the bid.
Proposals must conform to the RFP format and be complete
including the use of any forms. Metro may accept or reject any or
all proposals, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting
substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.
