fied Monday that he drove along
the Oregon coast after killing his
wife and 2-year-old daughter and
was bothered by the sight of the
g irl's car seat in his minivan.
“I could look in the rearview mir­
ror in the back and see M adison’s
seat. I could see the tip of it, but
normally I could see the tip o f her
hair, too. It was dri ving me nuts,” he
testified at his aggravated murder
trial.
Longo, 29, has confessed to kill­
ing his wife, MaryJane, and daugh­
ter Madison. He has pleaded inno­
cent in the deaths of his two older
children— 4-year-old Zachery and
- Christian Longo, when asked how he could attend a pizza party and
socialize with co-workers after the killings

A search warrant executed last
month at the Polo Club Apart­
ments in Vancouverresulted in the
arrest of three convicted felons.
The Vancou ver Police Depart­
ment Violent Crime Unit and a
Department of Corrections Unit

Prosecutors have said Longo
strangled M aryJane and M adi­
son, and either strangled, sm oth­

Sadie.
The trial is currently in its
fourth week.

On Sunday, February 2 at
about 2:45 a.m. a female m otor­
ist sto p p ed her van on SW
Barbur Boulevard at SW C api­
tol H ighw ay, got out, and went
to the rear of (he vehicle to get
som ething from inside.
As the woman opened the
rear door of her van and leaned
inside, another vehicle pulled
up behind her van and stopped.
Before the w oman could turn
around to see w ho was there,

her neck and placed a sharp
