Wallace and teammate Damon Stoudamire were passengers in a vehicle that was stopped for speeding on Nov. 22 on a high- Rasheed Wallace way outside Chehalis, following a game against Seattle. A search o f the vehicle turned up a small amount o f marijuana, police said. Stoudamire, Wallace and driver Ed Smith o f Portland were cited and released. All three pleaded inno­ cent to the charges, punishable by a fine o f up to $1,000 and three months in jail. Stoudamire previously agreed to attend drug and alcohol counseling and stay out o f legal trouble for the next year to have misdemeanor charges against him dropped. Smith agreed to the same terms.
