Each bid must contain a statement whether bidder is a resident
bidder, as defined in ORS 279.029
PRE-QUALIFICATIONS OF BIDDER may be required pursuant to the
Multnomah County Public Contract Review Board Administrative
Rules (AR 40.030). See Specifications for project classes of work.
Pre-qualification application, or proof of Pre-qualification by the
Oregon Departm ent of Transportation, must be received by, or
postmarked to, Multnomah County Purchasing no later than 10
days prior to the bid due date.
PRE-QUALIFICATION APPLICATIONS DUE: October 7, 2002
All bidders must comply with the requirements of the prevailing
wage law in ORS 279.350. Details of compliance are available
from Multnomah County CPCA, 501 SE Hawthorne Blvd., 4th Floor,
Portland, OR 97214, (503) 988-5111.
Contractors and subcontractors must be licensed for asbestos
abatement work if the project involves working with asbestos as
set forth in ORS 468A.720.
No bid will be considered unless bidder is registered with the
Construction Contractors Board as required by ORS 701.055 or
licensed by the State Landscape Contractors Board as required
by ORS 671.530.
No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a surety bond,
certified check, or a cashiers check payable to Multnomah County
for the am ount equal to ten percent (10%) of the aggregate
proposal. The successful bidder shall furnish a bond satisfactory
to the board in the full amount of the contract.
Multnomah County reserves the right to reject any bid not in
compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and
requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids if
Multnomah County finds it is in the public interest to do so.

RE: REQUEST FOR CONSULTING SERVICES
The City of Gresham invites proposals from qualified consultants
for On-Call Real Property Acquisition Services for the City of
Gresham Department of Environmental Services office, 1333 NW
Eastman Parkway, Gresham, Oregon.
Proposals will be received until, but not after, 10:00 a.m. (local
tim e), Friday, O ctober 11, 2002, at the C ity of G resham ,
Department of Environmental Services, Attention: Jay McCoy,
Senior Transportation Engineer, 1333 NW Eastman Parkway,
Gresham, Oregon 97030-3813. One original and two (2) copies
of the proposal shall be submitted in a sealed envelope entitled
“PROPOSAL FOR CONSULTING SERVICES FOR ON-CALL REAL
PROPERTY ACQUISITION SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF GRESHAM.”

Proposals that are received after the tim e and date set for the
RFP closing will not be accepted for any reason. Proposals that

will not be accepted. It is the sole responsibility of the party

received at the designated location on or before the Headline.
The proposals received will be held confidential until award or
recom m endation for awards has been approved by the City
Manager. Thereafter, all proposals will be available for public
inspection, unless specifically requested to be kept confidential

confidential).
The city will be the sole judge in determining award of contract
and reserves the right to reject all proposals.

associations to expand the core TDM program to focus on areas
of regional significance (such as regional centers, industrial areas
and the central city) in the Region 2040 Plan.
