In the w inter, it’s too cold o u t

No m atter w hat the season, it

stopping the tobacco habit.
If you w ant to get tobacco out

fo r ourselves.
If you w ant to stop smoking,
one way o f fertilizing your mind is
to think this thought: “I w onder
how easy it can be to stop sm ok
ing?” W ondering how difficult it
can be is feeding your mind a poi
son . There ’ s no time like the present
to start the process o f stopping
smoking. Build up to it over the
course of at least a few weeks, as
you get more and more consistent
at taking care o f yourself, of keep
ing your word to yourself.
T hen let it go, and w atch your
self blossom .
Diabetes—If You're At Risk, Get Screened
HOLLA students
will also produce
and star in a
A new
how we take care o f ourselves.
If we look at w ays nature re
news itself during this tim e of year,
we can rem em ber that we have the
pow er w ithin us to renew our
selves. T hings that grow in the
ground renew them selves with
w ater and sunshine. So do we.
A nim als that have recently
com e out o f hibernation during
the cooler m onths renew them
selves by exercise and stretching,
by being very active. W e hum ans
can do this too.
We fertilize our garden flowers
so that they w ill bloom and be
strong to handle the stresses o f
the heat o f the day. If we eat
sm arter, we give ourselves the
strength to w ithstand the stresses
in our lives and the challenges
that com e w ith releasing tobacco.
A nd w e fertilize our m inds w ith
positive th in k in g , choosing to
know that we can do that is right
