Seminar Focuses on Coping
Family Is Family
No Matter Where You Go.
Union Gospel Mission is planning to
offer a seminar for the families and friends
coping with a loved one’s addiction on
Friday, May 3 at 6 p.m. at Union Gospel
Mission.
The mission’s “LifeChange" addiction
recovery program focuses on individuals
that have life controlling addictions, which
have led to joblessness, crime or a life on
the street. Addiction often leads to a break
in relations with family and friends who
become frustrated and unable to cope

“Many of the calls I receive about
LifeChange are from a family member of
trenched in addiction relates to family and
friends, and what finally triggered a desire
to seek help for their addiction. There will
also be the sharing of information on the
Christian based recovery that takes place
in the LifeChange program.
The seminar is free, but registration is
required. For more information, contact
